Benefits of Membership

The Owasco Yacht Club is a private club in that it is member-owned. Each membership pays a small initiation fee that may be paid over a five‐year period along with annual dues. There is no other organization comparable anywhere on Owasco Lake.

Some of the many benefits of membership include:

• More than 620 feet of prime and pristine lakefront on nine acres for members' enjoyment

• Clubhouse, restroom and shower facility

• Top-name, live professional music and entertainment acts booked through the main summer season

• Playground for the children

• Boat hoists (there is a waitlist as they are at a premium), a private boat launch and hoist for sailboats are onsite 

• Boat mooring space and kayak and SUP racks are available

• Swim area staffed with accredited lifeguards, with comfortable sitting and sunning areas 

• Year‐round social activities, game day events

• A kitchen operator hired annually to offer food service

• You are invited to bring your own beverage of choice as there is no bar
