Frost Bite Series 8 races Jim Kusche
This year seemed typical with a couple weekends with good weather and a couple without, leaving us with only 8 races. The same as last year. 8 sailors participated.
This was again a long distance race (beyond the scout camp) for the third year. We had a little more wind this year making it a little more competitive along with the 90+ temp we enjoyed all summer. 9 sailors and crew participated.
Warm summer weather let us get in exactly as many races as last year. Participation was better with 18 sailors participating in one or more races. John Hogan only missed 3 races. Weds evening races seemed the most enjoyable for me. Unlike last year we never really had a high (or even moderate) wind day.

Labor Day Race Russ Kincaid
Somewhat lower turnout than normal but a great race anyway. Russ lead the way with 2 firsts and third to take the trophy.
