OYC BOATLIFT WAIT LIST 2008
Hoist Subletting
Club members utilizing shore or mooring space for boat storage must follow the following procedure:
- If members are not going not use their assigned shore or mooring space during a given season they must notify the Waterfront Director.
- A member may leave their hoist or mooring space vacant for one year or,
- A member may sublease his hoist or mooring space for one year with the approval of the Waterfront Director who will consult with the Board of Driectors. Subleasing must be done from the waiting list, which is maintained by the Waterfront Director. The person at the top of the list has first refusal.
- Reassignment of shore or mooring space will be made by the Waterfront Director after consultation with the Board of Directors and will come from the waiting list maintained by the Waterfront Director.
- Terms of purchasing or subletting hoists, moorings, equipment, etc., will be negitiated between the buyer and seller.
- Positioning of mooring buoys an the type of ground tackle used must be approved by the Waterfront Director.
- The shore or mooring space waiting list will be published annually in the Windward.
