Casowasco

    Originally Grant's Point.

In 1886 purchased jointly by Mrs. T.P. Case and Mr. D.M. Dunning. Property was split with the Dunning family on the southern half. Dunning called his home Hazelwood.

Mrs. Case and her son Will had one house and Howard Case maintained another house on the North Side of the point.
In 1896 Ted Case built on the property and renamed the point Casowasco.
