Name Changed to Koenig's Point after this Auburn Brewer Purchased the Property
of Billy Claxton's Ocean House, Hotel and Dance Pavillion.
He ran the steamer City of Auburn on the Lake to Take Patrons to His Hotel and Pavillion.
Koenig Point would be hard to find if it weren't for the flag pole that dominates the concrete pier on the north end.
The point doesn't extend into the lake for any great distance, and the point itself is quite blunt. It retreats south of this picture and becomes Conklin's Cove.
