Martin's Point was the Home of Enos T. Troope, one time Governor of New York. His estate, known as
Willowbrook was a site visited by many dignitaries over the years.
It was once owned by the Emerson Foundation and used by the YMCA as the site for their daycamp.
It was later sold to the Martin Point Development Company, it was subdivided and developed into
high end
condominiums and homes.
