It takes two people with waders in the water to hook up each lift and a couple of people on shore to unhook each lift. Once the lift is hooked up the crane swings the lift to the shore and sets it in place. The people on the shore then unhook the lift and the crane swings out to the next lift and the process is repeated until all of the lifts are on shore. Even with wader the water is chilly. That's not to mention the occasional leak through a hole in the waders, or water coming in over the top. Really couldn't have asked for a better day to be doing it this year.
